The Dope Girl: Review: Britney Spears - Femme Fatale

calling it her best album yet. Adie-hardBritney fan since Baby One More Time, I take to hold that Make It Against Me didn't quite do it for me -in fact I remember that Til The World Ends would have had a greater impact as a low single- so I was concerned to discover what the album contained that had critics so intrigued.

The result is not just pop but dirty, sexy, seductive pop -true femme fatale music. A totally cohesive effort of dance tunes from beginning to finish. With pounding bass lines, isolated sounds, catchy hooks and the laboured breathing that made Britney famous, Femme Fatale in your speakers will work any L.A.beach party, Vegas strip tease orMiaminightclub to any small town function. Within this album, you are sure to discover your inner wild-child.

I'm very happy with Femme Fatale because it's perfect in so many ways. It's so significant for artists to make a production that can be listened to frombeginningto end without losing thelistenerin between. And with Lady Gagapracticallystealing the music scene, I'm finding that many other are losing themselves trying to be an artist that they're not. That said, I believe Britney really had to rediscover herself and her music in place to play tracks that are real and truly BRITNEY SPEARS. There's not a one song on the album that sounds like it was meant for Gaga to sing, and that's really what I was afraid I might find.

Britney fans will be pleased. I'm pleased. DJ's will be pleased. Claps for the Queen B!
