Rihanna wants to punish Britney Spears - but merely in the friendliest possible way! The "S&M" singer is thrilled with the new remix of her hit single, featuring a rare guest appearance by Ms. Spears. And now she`s fantasizing about future collaborations.
"I trust so!" Rihanna said Monday on Z100, when asked if she was passing to have a picture with Spears. "I wish to spank Britney.
Oh my! Rihanna, 23, says that she never intended to do a remix unless it had a little something special for the fans - and when she asked her fans for suggestions on a collaborator, "Britney was one of the most popular names."
"It`s very strange. Britney never does features," Rihanna points out. "It was truly astonishing that she truly wanted to be partly of this song. She really liked the call to start with, but it was a different story when she had to talk it, and she actually wanted to be a division of it. It made it really, really special, because you never see two pop female artists doing songs together anymore."
True - and it`s courteous to see news about female pop stars collaborating rather than feuding! Rihanna and Britney - or "R&B," as Rihanna joked on the radio - have still been exchanging cute messages on Twitter, with Rihanna calling Britney "gangsta" and Brit responding "You ain`t so bad yourself honey."

Unfortunately for Spears, there`s also some less-than-flattering press happening today. Needless to say, 29-year-old Britney suffers in compare with her 19-year-old self. But hello - who wouldn`t? Not alone has the girl been through a whole lot of play in those years, she had two kids and suffered a knee injury. She deserves a little more recognition than this picture gives her.
