'Everytime' by Britney Spears review

Item: `Everytime` by Britney Spears Location: by Zoey7879

To be honest, I don`t really wish for Britney Spears in any way shape or form. Her live performances sound terrible and she really did not and does not set an instance for her younger fans, primarily girls in their `tween years. However, one strain of hers has always appealed to me.

That call is `Everytime`, allegedly written after her heartbreaking split from then beau Justin Timberlake. The vocal features high pitched, but tender melodies that are a small out of Spears` usual vocal range, but the operation is not at all unpleasant. The touching lyrics speak as a story to her love interest who has seemingly become estranged, leaving her seat in regret and sadness to enquire just how and where things went wrong.

This call is particularly beautiful, and appears to have only the soft and drums throughout. The quiet melody is sad, but soothing and offers a prospect for listeners to get a glance to a side of Britney that the world wasn`t especially mindful of at the time. Coupled with an equally beautiful and plaintive music video, `Everytime` is rather a powerful song.

The video features Britney and her boyfriend fighting after a public show in regards to all of the media attention and swarming publicity. They are ushered into their hotel through the basement and staff only hallways. Once in their room, they proceed to debate and Britney decides to get a bath. At some degree while soaking in the tub, she strikes her mind and fades into unconsciousness and begins to drown. Britney suddenly finds herself dressed in a long white shirt, following a white, dimensionless highway. Soon she realizes that she is in a birthing room and witnesses the speech of the child. It is at that precise second that her boyfriend discovers her below the urine and pulls her out. He performs CPR and Britney once again begins to breathe on her own and regains consciousness.

I really love both the call and the musical video, and I will concede that I cry just about any sentence that I see or watch. The call is bare and by no means special, but it is one that I can connect to, one that almost any listener could refer to. If someone couldn`t relate to it for yet a second in their life, I`d be confident that they just weren`t human. The song delivers a strong message about heart ache and that we should not admit it to slowly pick us off, but rather to slowly let it breathe a new spirit into our sorrows and get a new beginning. I`m not sure, however, if I would urge the call to somebody who has recently experienced loss, as it can be a bit depressing in those situations.

For existence a Britney song, I was very impressed.
