Is Britney Spears underrated as an artist?

1. I entirely agree!

2. I would hardly call Britney Spears an artist

3. No offense, but I believe she`s overrated as an artist.

   And really, she didn`t write Toxic.She just sang it.

4. I would care to argue that Britney is a blaze of a dancer and fair as a singer, but obviously good enough to get by.

   would not see her an artist, however, as she does not write her songs, lyrically or musically.She also does not choreograph her own routines (most stars don`t), so I`d classify her more as the gift as opposed to an artist.

   So ultimately, no, she`s not underrated.

   Alicia Keys, Christiana Aguilera, many get natural beautiful voices that don`t have to be neutered or synthetic.

12. i guess she is to an extent, yes she is a serious singer but the media over shadows her career so often that nobody cares anymore they merely need to live if she`s crazy, it`s sad that she`s not reconized as a singer but i`m not surely how often of an artist she is.
